(Contains serious spoilers. Don't continue if you haven't read.)

I think that was probably the most satisfying ending to a book series I have ever read. It was sweet, it was cold, it was tragic, and it was glorious.
It had a wonderful backstory to it. My mom only read the first book, and she said it was about a little boy, abused by his parents, who creates a fabulous world beyond most imaginations. It comes down to: "Is it real or not? Am I only dreaming?"
Sorta like Cinderella, I guess. Only with a lot more blood.
I disagree. I think it was about a lost boy, and the real quest in life, which is understanding yourself.

Things aren't always what they seem.
Dumbledore was always a bad guy, and Snape was always on the good side.
You could tell who was a good guy, and then who was a bad guy on how they referred to Voldemort...
The people on his side called him the Dark Lord. (Ollivander, the Goblins, Bellatrix Black) The older, more wiser called him He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. (Most of the teaching staff at Hogwarts.) You-Know-Who was for the people who would try stand by Harry's side, and follow his orders.
The group in the book who would really call him Voldemort- those were the fearless, brash, and quite a bit stupid people. People who wanted desperately to be good, but had small strings tugging on the backs of their minds.

Harry was a horcrux, and he seeked to destroy them most of the entire book. Trying to destroy himself, I guess, without even realizing it.

That's pretty much it for my revelation of the day. If you haven't read the book and are STILL reading this, don't yell at me. It'll hurt my ears. =o
